A screen-matched Wallace stop-motion puppet from Nick Park and Merlin Crossingham’s Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl. Wallace wore his traditional outfit of a knitted green vest, red tie, and brown trousers throughout the film.
The creases in the sleeves and the vest's pattern screen-match the scene in which Chief Inspector Mackintosh and PC Mukherjee investigate Wallace’s home after being led to believe he is responsible for the thieving gnomes terrorising the community.
Designed and created by four-time Academy Award winner Nick Park, the beloved Wallace and Gromit have defied convention for more than three decades, cementing their place as cinema’s unlikeliest - though no less legendary - action duo. Without superpowers or violence, the cheese-loving inventor and his loyal canine companion have secured their place amongst the greats through ingenuity, humour, and heart.
The latest chapter in Aardman’s beloved Wallace & Gromit franchise, Vengeance Most Fowl, was met with widespread critical acclaim, earning numerous awards and nominations while delighting audiences with the return of one of animation’s most memorable villains. The film continues Aardman’s tradition of inventive storytelling, meticulous craftsmanship, and distinctly British humour that has made Wallace & Gromit a global favourite for more than three decades.
Wallace’s head is moulded from clay, while his body is made of silicone to facilitate smooth repositioning by the animators. He has a skeleton, just like every salt-of-the-earth lad; it's just that his happens to be made of metal and is technically referred to as a fully jointed armature. His teeth, shirt collar, tie, pen, and pencil are fast-cast resin, and his eyes are plastic. He comes displayed on a wooden base.
