A screen-matched Feathers McGraw, disguised as a nun, stop-motion puppet from Nick Park and Merlin Crossingham’s Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl. Fleeing pursuit from Wallace and Gromit aboard a barge, Feathers McGraw disguised himself as a nun to deceive Chief Inspector Mackintosh and PC Mukherjee.

The cuttings in the white coif around Feathers’ face screen-match to the scene in which the sinister penguin scuffled with Gromit atop the barge. Aardman characters wearing an outfit different from their standard attire will typically have only one version created.

The latest chapter in Aardman’s beloved Wallace & Gromit franchise, Vengeance Most Fowl, was met with widespread critical acclaim, earning numerous awards and nominations while delighting audiences with the return of one of animation’s most memorable villains. The film continued Aardman’s tradition of inventive storytelling, meticulous craftsmanship, and distinctly British humour that has made Wallace & Gromit a global favourite for more than three decades.

Designed and created by four-time Academy Award winner Nick Park, this iteration of the infamous villain wears the nun disguise, consisting of a wire-lined fabric veil over a screen-matched silicone coif. Feathers McGraw’s body, including his wicked flippers, is made of clay, crafted over a fully jointed internal metal armature. His eyes are glass pins, while his beak is fast-cast resin. The puppet comes displayed on a wooden base.

This is one tough bird, so despite his intense scrap with Gromit, Feathers McGraw remains in excellent condition.
