A production-made B1-series battle droid created for Rian Johnson's Star Wars: The Last Jedi. This is one of only three constructed by the production's workshop for a sequence ultimately omitted from the film; ultimately, no B1 droids appeared in the final cut.

Throughout the making of the Star Wars saga, B1 droids were typically cast from fibreglass and urethane plastic for use as practical set dressing, while foam-rubber stunt versions were produced for fight sequences. However, the majority of B1s seen on screen were computer-generated, particularly during large-scale battles. This example is made of fibreglass and urethane, and was finished with expert studio paintwork to achieve a realistic, battle-worn appearance.

The droid is mounted on a wooden display base, and an E-5 blaster rifle made of fibreglass and urethane is fixed to one of its hands. The arms of the droid are connected to the shoulders by a hinge joint, which allows them to be moved laterally. The point where the bottom of the head meets the top of the neck is also designed to allow for tilting back and forth.
